Customer Service

Most of our apparel is unisex using Direct to Garment (DTG) technology with extremely high quality of 99% premium cotton and a hint of polyester-blend material. The fabric is use for our products because of the durability, softness, and the ability to stretch without little to no damage. After the first (proper) wash and dry, the apparel would result in minimal shrinkage (or the apparel is pre-shrunk).

To properly wash and dry the apparel, you wash it inside-out in a standard washer. Hang-drying is the best recommendation, but a regular dryer is ideal as well. There’s a small chance the shirts (or other apparel) will shrink, and our designs won’t fade due to the high quality.

You can find the sizing chart on the button that says sizing chart on top of the sizes of your choice.

There is also a chance where you left the package in an unexpected location at the customer’s address. About Us

Jay Japan has been around since September 2018 by selling popular anime products, but we started doing our own original designs around 2020 to showcase our love for Japanese culture and anime with a touch of Louisiana roots into it.

As of now, Jay Japan is an online-only anime store, but it's based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Kira Yamada is the official mascot for Jay Japan, designed in collaboration with Collateral Damage Studios in Singapore.

To learn more about our mascot: click here!

The reason Kira Yamada is based off in Yokohama, Japan is that it's the first city the founder went he traveled to Japan in January 2018.

The reason for that is since we're based in Louisiana, there's nothing wrong with having a clothing line that's based off on where the store is established at.

As a matter of fact, we don't always do seasonal merch (with or without) our mascot.

Mainly we would do certain moments of seasonal merch such as Japanese cherry blossom or Mardi Gras (since we're based in Louisiana).

There will be times we can do seasonal drops, but as of right now, we don't always go for something seasonal.

The reason is it'll be time-consuming on our end to constantly do a seasonal theme, and constantly change it whenever the season ends.

Hopefully, we'll be able to do more seasonal drops in the future.

As of right now, since we're mainly doing anything original (with and without our mascot), we do not do anything dealing with popular anime series.

Hopefully, we'll be able to collaborate with one in the future.
